Hello, Welcome to the world of John Velasco. I am a Creative Professional living in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area.

How it All Started

After realizing my dreams of leading the Redskins to a Super Bowl victory was probably not the best way to support my family, I decided to transfer my passion for football into my second love, design. I eventually acquired a BA in Graphic Design from UMBC, and thus—the rock star was born. I officially began my creative career 4 years ago by diving head first in to the digital world, mastering the inner workings of the web from the inside out.

I currently work as a Web Designer for an award winning digital marketing agency in Baltimore, working with clients such as Robitussin, The National Aquarium in Baltimore, Tower Federal Credit Union, 1st Mariner Banker and the Howard County Government, to name a few. I have simultaneously been cultivating personal clientele. A few of these clients include the Indian American Leadership Initiative, El Farolito, and the Community Financial Services Association of America.

I pride myself in applying my multi-faceted skill set to every project, from concept to design to programming W3C compliant web sites. In addition to my academic endeavors, I have acquired priceless industry knowledge through the wisdom of my peers.
